Company has “auctions” that have no contract with the sellers of the merchandise and then when they are not satisfied with the results they just ignore everyone phone calls emails etc and pretend the sale never existed. Why waste everyone’s time to have “auctions” that have no guarantee of any merchandise changing hands. Based on past reviews this isn’t an isolated occurrence. This company needs to seriously rethink their operating strategy.

If your response is correct then why have you not answered any emails that have been sent to that email address and why has there been total silence on the Pontiac, MI surplus robot auction?

I had the pleasure of dealing with Kim through many auctions this week. She is very responsive, straight to the point, had all my items available, and willing to work with you to make sure you’re satisfied. I find this company to be fair in the way they do business. I appreciate you guys and I look forward to doing business with you in the future.

I purchased almost $2000 of lots at a recent auction. After winning and paying the invoice they repeatedly delayed my schedule pickup time and then emailed saying the sale had been canceled with no explanation as to why. They have ignored multiple emails requesting additional information. They just blamed the seller. It makes me wonder how this could happen. I would assume they would have a contact before starting an auction or at least have an agreement before taking my money. Still waiting on my refund. I passed up another auction because my funds were tied up with this auction. I was in talks about reselling some of the items so their failure hurt my credibility.

This is the second shady thing they pulled. Last time a purchased from them they tried to tell me that one of the items that was on a shelf listed as "with contents" wasn't included despite there being a close up picture of that item in the listing saying i only paid $18 for it so I shouldn't expect to get it. You can't change what's included just because you didn't get as much as you thought you should. After raising a fuss about it they did give it to me and acted like they were doing me a favor. I don't consider that a favor

For an auction house they really don't seem to understand the concept of what an auction is. If I had bid on $2k worth of stuff at another auction and then just said I changed my mind and didn't want to buy it anymore I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be as forgiving as they expect their customers to be.

They better figure out how to prevent this from happening again because I imagine the circle of people buying from auctions isn't that big and something like this can't be good for your credibility.

The auction had plenty of time to review and when I contacted the auction team regarding logistics they were extremely helpful and made me feel that I would be able to ask a question of a person rather than a hole in the wall.

SVD: "ALL SALES ARE FINAL! "... so not true, SVD backed out of a sale after payment was made, after an appointment to pick up the item was scheduled, after I rented a truck, and after I drove to the location to pick up the item purchased. It took weeks to receive a respond to my inquires. SVD provided little information or justification. SVD Disposition lacks integrity, I will never trust this company again; I will never do business with them again, and encourage you to do due diligence before bidding on any item.

Recently won an auction item but was disappointed to see such a short payment window (48 hours) and pickup window (also 48 hours). The only way to pay is via wire transfer, which takes longer than 48 hours through our bank because it was a new vendor for us. The customer service, or lack of, that I received when I reached out to deal with this issue was extremely unprofessional and snobby. Needless to say, our company will not be purchasing from an SVD auction ever again. We have had much better service and professionalism from other auctions in the area.

I have been attending SVD auctions for a few years now, and have to say they are one of my favorite auction houses I deal with. Maybe it's due to my living in the Silicone Valley (Bay Area), but somehow they seem to always get the best tech related auction items I find. From neat experimental stuff to overstock and surplus ... sometimes going out of business stuff too ... Their staff is on point and it is always a smooth painless event. I recently had the opportunity to work with Mr. Andres Miguel again, during a pick up from a recent auction. He is an exceptionally helpful asset to SVD. Very knowledgeable, outgoing and easy to reach by phone making the pickup a breeze. Thank You, Mr. Miguel for your exceptional attention to detail. I truly appreciate working with professionals like you, who make my job easier and generally brighten up my day!!

We bought from SVD auction multiple times. I am surprised to read some of the reviews, we always had good experiences. Buying from disposition auctions is not for everyone, and retail buyers may sometimes be disappointed if they expect Apple-like experience and hand holding. Auctioneers sell distressed assets and don't usually have time or ability to test the product. As long as the buyer understands that the product is not tested and guaranteed, they can get a good deal. We just bought over 200 Nvidia GPU boards in the last auction and yet to stumble on a bad one - batting 100% on "untested and non-guaranteed product". A couple of network boards were damaged - 2 out of over 100. We got some servers and they had better than advertised stuff in them. All in all, I am happy. Thanks SVD!
P.S. Or, and we did need a refund on a previous auction - something was not as advertised. We got a refund wired back to us in something like 24 hours..
