I stopped by recently and was impressed by their friendly staff and laid-back atmosphere. I started with the Mac & Cheese Squares, which were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside—a definite must-try. For my main, I went with the Gator Banger, a flavorful sausage that didn't disappoint. I washed it all down with a couple of craft beers from their impressive selection. The whole meal set me back around $40, and it was well worth every penny.

Stopped in for a lunch and immediately entered a small, quaint bar. I heard through the grapevine their wings are good. So I had to try.

Started off with the potato skins which you don't find often in the city. LOVED these, perfect cheese and bacon. Wished they gave like 1-2 more skins.

Then got 2 orders of wings. I was hungry. 8ct of Mango Habenero and 8ct of Hot Buffalo. WOW. Delish. The mango habenero not hot, with that nice sweet touch. The hot buffalo did it for me. It's a thick sauce, perfect amount of heat, and had me wanting to eat more. Up there with Birds Nest and Toons for me.

Will be coming back for those hot buffalo wings.

Aberdeen has been and will always be one of my favorite neighborhood bars in the city. Their wings go toe to toe with just about any other location the city and the patio during summer is hard to beat. There are very few places in Chicago I tend to regularly return to, but this is always a top spot whenever I want to put back a couples of beers and enjoy a game with some friends.

Unbelievably rude bartender. Unbelievably rude door man. It’s Sunday night… you’re slow. Chill the heck out. As a neighbor, I will never return for a late night drink or food. I will also tell my friends to never frequent your establishment.

Horrible, horrible service. Don’t waste your time unless you are in the mood for garbage service. Eat and drink anywhere else.

Been here in person before and had a fine time. This was my first time ordering for delivery and we were highly satisfied. Got the chicken wrap with chipotle sauce and it was great and fresh, the fries that come with are well seasoned and great for dipping.

We were blown away by the Mac and cheese bites. For them to be so crunchy and warm and creamy after delivery is insane. I can only imagine how great they are at the bar. Love that it comes with a nice ranch and creamy tomato sauce dip, they’re perfect for it.

Great bar/tavern for locals. Highly recommend the food at this venue. The chee-vaps and wings (hot) were very tasty and really hit the spot with a few beers. I really enjoyed the Allagash White they had on tap. As for my wife, she really enjoyed the high noon seltzers. Overall, I'd recommend this bar for anyone who likes a more intimate, local-feel to their watering holes. If the weather is nice, the outside area is very pleasant for people watching, if it's rainy, the bar could get a little crowded, but that's to be expected.
