I ordered this place on Postmates and I got the vegetarian lentil shepherds pie, garlic brussels sprouts, and the veggie sausage roll with leek (I love leek), carrot, and mushroom.
Omg everything was sooo good. I’m glad I went with the lentil shepherds pie instead of the impossible although I may try that next time. The serving size of the pie is huge! I’ll definitely have more for at least one more meal.
The brussels are super flavorful just the way I make them and the sausage pie is super satisfying and savory. Good texture too.
It a bit expensive but really for the amount of food you get and the quality of the food it’s not bad at all. I would splurge again for sure sometime even being on a tight budget atm.

The only issue I had was that it wasn’t packed super well so there was sauce kinda all over and the bag was leaking some. But I am willing to overlook it since it was really good. But hopefully the store sees this and does a bit better in that regard in the future. I’d maybe take a half to a full star off for this but I’m feeling generous and full. lol

I’ll add a some pics but I forgot to take any until I ate already hah. It was one of those so hungry and so good that I just ate standing up at the counter kind of nights.
It’s 10pm so the lighting isn’t the best either. But I assure you it tastes great. lol

The Cat & Fiddle is a local pub that has spent many years in the bustling town of Hollywood. It has been passed down from one family member to the next and has retained a grand reputation as a great establishment in a small nook of Los Angeles that serves fine British fare.
The service is exquisite. The staff is friendly and offers wonderful suggestions. The space is what you expect from a great pub. Loud, raucous, fun-loving, and lively.
The food is delicious. Served in a true British fashion. Flavorful and delicious. It's definitely worth the trip to come over and grab a pint and some chips with malt vinegar.

Went here for lunch after leaving the studio tour. They have parking behind the place, but it was full as the place was packed with soccer fans. Fortunately, found free parking on the street right in front. No waiting for a table. Great selection in the menu with gluten free items marked. However, the deep fryer is shared with gluten items so no deep fried items are truly gluten free despite what the menu says.

Our waiter explained all this to us so I was able to find shrimp and mashed potatoes which were actually gluten free and tasted great. Best shrimp I have had in a long time. A server brought gravy for the mashed potatoes, which the waiter immediately removed stating it is not gluten free.

Way back in the day, we used to go to The Cat when it was on Sunset, and we were sad to hear they closed. So, fast forward to years later, we were happy to see they reopened, and we finally made it down to enjoy. The atmosphere is great, the food and drinks are delicious and the service was perfect. Fish & Chips, Apple Butter Bee's Knees and Sticky Toffee pudding was heaven! Pictured is the Beef Wellington which my husband thoroughly enjoyed.

I've been wanting to come for footie for the longest. Didn't make it for that but came in during happy hour and can't wait to come back.

The scotch egg was delicious but my god that Mac and cheese! I haven't all, or even a lot, of the Mac and cheese in LA but I'd bet there's not many better!

A great little pub with a unique outdoor patio sheltered from any traffic noise. Quality food and breakfast/ brunch items also available in the mornings. Happy Hour specials are celebrated too. Slow-paced service was experienced but with friends...who wants to hurry?

Amazing brunch place! We stopped here while in town and got sat quickly for being 10am on a Saturday. They have both indoor and outdoor patio. The patio is gorgeous. Service was amazing, and the food was delicious. The staff accommodated my food modifications and Virgin drink requests. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for a cute date spot or even a place to bring the family. (Would check prices before bringing a whole family, some items are pricey)

We went on Wednesday, November 22. This was our first time at this wonderful restaurant and it won’t be our last. We were visiting from the Seattle area and happened upon this place driving to our hotel. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. Our server was extremely helpful and kind. What a joy to have found this place. We will be back here on our next trip down! Highly recommend!!
