A friend recommended this shop, and I’m so glad we visited! The store is clean, well-organized, and offers an impressive selection of gifts. The staff were fantastic—friendly and helpful throughout. Their handcrafted wooden bowls, in particular, caught our eye; they’re beautifully made from a variety of wood types. If you're traveling, they even offer shipping for your purchases. We couldn't resist buying a few salad bowls, and though the items are on the pricier side, the craftsmanship makes them well worth it!

This was one of our first stops when visiting Fairbanks, AK. If you are looking for local, Alaskan made gifts this is the place. The bowls are beautiful and we purchased one but we also got beard oil, chocolate, salt, an ornament that are all Alaskan made. We also asked the ladies working at the shop what we should not miss while visiting. They gave the best advice and recommendations. We went to a University of Alaska Fairbanks hockey game, saw the start of the Yukon Quest Fairbanks dog sled race, ate at the Pump House, The Crepery, Wagners Pizza Bus, and Two Rivers Restaurant. All were great.

This place is AMAZING. Everything is Alaskan, local sourced and sold. Natural items, kitchenware, decor, books, and so many gorgeous wooden pieces. There are panes of glass in the back of the shop that let you look directly into the workshop and see the craftsmen hard at work literally the bowl making happens right in front of you. It is 100% a necessity for anyone visiting Alaska or anyone wanting Alaskan goods, supporting local and small businesses. Can't wait to come back. Thank you so much!!

Loved our visit to the Great Alaskan Bowl Company and will definitely return in the future. We stopped in during our vacation to Alaska and had the chance to watch the wood workers spinning bowls in the background. Loved being able to see everything firsthand and also all the various products, remnants in the stores. The team was so friendly and kind, making our visit to their store even more special!
After we left Alaska my son regretted not purchasing a wooden puzzle. We contacted the store and they had it, and shipped it right away!

What a great find. The Great Alaskan Bowl Company was recommended to us by our guide, Dave, from Alaskan fishing and rafting adventures. We'd asked about places he thought we're really great points of interest in Fairbanks. Wow! They offer a huge selection of natural birch bowls of all sizes and shapes. You can see the shop where the bowls are made, they will custom laser engrave your purchase if you'd like. They have great gift ideas. The service is truly fabulous.... Very accommodating. I highly recommend the great Alaskan Bowl Company.... Well worth the effort. We bought bowls, engraved wood planks and I found the best looking damaskas steel ulu knife I've ever seen.
