Yoko is a designer who listened to what I wanted. She gave me multiple design choices and great advice on color selection. I had my hardwood floors refinished and her advice led to my beautiful new floors. Carpet is chosen and I am waiting for the installation.

We hired Yoko for two projects:
1. Pick colors to repaint the entire inside of our house.
2. Purchase custom window treatments for the family room and kitchen.
We were very pleased with the outcome of both projects and got many compliments from our friends on the beautiful looks.
Yoko has a great eye and did an outstanding job picking wall colors that would compliment our existing furnishings and accessories. She was very patient and made sure that both, my husband and I, would like the selected color scheme.
When it came to selecting the fabric for the second project, the valances for the family room and kitchen, she was extremely helpful with narrowing my many ideas down to the perfect look, offering her own suggestions, but always listening to my wishes. I had a hard time pinpointing what I wanted and kept going back and forth on colors and styles. Again, she was very patient and kept bringing fabric samples until we found the perfect one.
The seamstress Yoko uses for sewing and installing did as well an outstanding job.
You can tell that Yoko loves her job. I have more projects coming up and I will definitely hire her again.

I felt compelled to share this review as Yoko Oda and her team at Yoko Oda Interior Design deserve a shout out! I remodeled my kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and updated paint throughout our house, as well as furniture in family room. I will summarize what I loved:

*For every mini-project, Yoko offered me several options for color, tile, fabrics, fixtures, etc. (unfortunately this was difficult as I liked them all)

*Yoko kept to my budget, always showing me ways to maximize my remodel dollars (with our savings we were able to do more than we originally thought).

*Design options and advice were amazing.

*Yoko and her team are efficient: our meetings were well planned out and covered all issues as necessary (no additional meetings or conversations due to forgotten details/issues).

*We have received so many compliments on our remodel….now I know that it isn’t just me that loves our classy new house look! I would heartily recommend Yoko Oda and her team, and I have already done so!

For me everything started with portfolio of Yoko's projects. It was very important to find a designer who understands and supports my taste and most importantly creates and corrects ideas about layout, colors, materials and so on. I am a very busy person and I do not have time to think about design of my house, that's why I needed a designer like Yoko. When we were referred and first met with Yoko Oda, - we spend enough time to understand the direction we are going to and other details.
